How to Get More Twitter Followers for your Beauty Blog

Promoting your blog on Social Media

Social media plays a great role in a blog's promotion and if you are a blogger, you might already using Twitter, Facebook and other similar sites to socialize with people and make your work known to them. If you have a Twitter account, you probably know well the importance of having more followers, as it gives more chances to your Tweets to being clicked on or shared. However, building that foundation of followers can be tricky, and it's easy to accidentally drive people away without realizing that you're doing it.

Here are a few tips on growing your Twitter following without annoying anyone in the process:

Carefully Engage with other users

Follow companies, blogs and people you care about, comment on their posts, and Retweet things that you genuinely think your followers will enjoy. Following unnecessary number of people you have nothing in common with is probably not going to garner the engagement you want. But if you own a fashion blog, following a fashion news site, commenting, and occasionally Retweeting is likely to be rewarding.

Share often... but don't spam your followers!

Tweeting your own blog posts over and over will only drive people away. Your Tweets should be a mix of Retweets from the people you follow, your own thoughts and comments, and your articles that you think your followers will like. It's a good idea to Tweet several times a day every day in order to keep your audience interested. Drop names. Mention the people, brands, and organizations you tweet about.

Use hashtags... but don't engage in hashtag spam.

Only include 1-3 truly relevant hashtags that actually reflect what your post is about.

Care about the community.

This one is the most important. You want to cultivate a community of like-minded people to engage and share with regularly, not a herd of followers to exploit for the sole purpose of propagating your blog posts. Be sensible in your approach and rest will work out eventually.

Zarine Khan Ethnic Black Net Saree: Outfit of the day

Hello friends,

Wedding season and monsoons just don't go too well together. While I can't help but feel amazingly excited for all the weddings and functions I'd be attending (have already been to a couple of them!), the constant downpour does dampen up the spirits to some extent. I need to be extra special in taking care of my high heels and gorgeous ethnic dresses to keep them away from the rain and accompanied problems.

Zarine Khan Ethnic Black Net Saree

Anyhoo, on brighter note, I am sharing another ethnic outfit with you guys today. I got this black net saree from Zarine Khan's collection, a while back. It is one of my absolute favourites. I love the simplicity and royal look of this saree, and the fact it is extremely light weight and easy to carry; making it perfect wear for monsoons. The whole black and red combination works wonderfully in making it an apt party wear for weddings as well as evening parties.

Ethnic Outfit of the day: Green Net and Velvet Saree

Hi friends,

Its been a long time since I posted anything on my blog. I wasn't keeping well earlier, and then my son got viral fever. Its been really crazy for a while and today, finally I got some rest and peace of mind to write on my blog. It feels liberating, spending sometime here, expressing my thoughts and let a bit of my creativity do its work. And I can't thank you guys enough for being a part of this blog. Its always wonderful to see your amazing comments and feedback.
Today, I thought of posting an ethnic outifit of the day. Its wedding season full on, and I will be going to attend one of my cousins' wedding next week. So, the timing is apt to do an ethnic outfit post of the day.

It is just a regular saree, but I wore it in lehenga saree style. There is an excellent video by Utsavsarees on youtube, that showcases a Do-it-yourself way of wearing saree lehenga style.

Za true white cleansing foam - Review

Hi friends,

I hope you are enjoying the first showers of monsoons. I love rains, only when they happen in bits and pieces. Here, at my place it has been a constant downpour since past few days. It does feel good initially when you get some relief from the sun and the heat, but does get depressing after a while, especially when you can't step out and have the power cut at home for 15 hours in stretch.
Anyways, enough of my ramblings; today I am going to share my experience with Za True White Cleansing Foam. I have been using it since a week or so, and have found it pretty good face wash for daily use, especially in current humid climate for my oily-combination skin. Let us get down to the details on what I liked and didn't like about Za true white cleansing foam.
