P2 Cosmetics color victim nail polish - 540 poetic - Review, Swatches, NOTD

A while back I was having a huge crush on lilacs and mauves. I had a tendency to pick any makeup product - blushes, lipsticks, nail polishes, eye shadows that were close to purples, mauves and lilacs. During my that phase I picked up this nail polish from P2 cosmetics and now after around 8 months of getting it, it has again reinstated my "lilac love". Check out more details about this nail polish below:

My experience with this nail polish

The shade looks exactly the same on my nails as it looks in the bottle. The nail polish gives a bit of semi-sheer finish on first coat and gives full opaque color on the second one. The shade is a gorgeous lilac, which looks lovely on wear. It gives semi-glossy finish to the nails. The brush that comes with the nail polish is a bit thicker than the usual brushes I've used so far, but it gives a good control on the application at the same time and helps spreading the nail color evenly. I am not a master in applying nail polishes, but I still managed to go without streaks even with my clumsy application technique. The nail polish gets dried up within 40-45 seconds.

What I liked the most about this nail polish:

1) Gorgeous Lilac shade.
2) Opaque coverage and glossy finish.
3) Gets dried up pretty quickly within 40-45 seconds.
4) The brush gives even application and helps you avoid getting streaks.
5) Very inexpensive.
6) The nail polish does not chip at ALL. I mean literally, even after wearing it for 4 days, it just began to fade from the top edges of my nails, probably because of the usual wear and tear and also because of my normal nail growth.

What I didn't like much about this nail polish:

Availability :(. I got this from Germany, and it is not available in India. After using so many products from P2 cosmetics, I've become its great fan and would definitely love them to come to India soon.

Overall: I love the shade, quality, price and basically everything about this nail polish. If you get a chance to go to Europe, try getting hands on these beauties for sue.

Rating: 4.5/5 (A)
